Mr. Millen is responsible for general management, corporate growth strategy, asset sourcing, fund structuring and regulatory compliance.

Prior to co-founding Caerus, from 2010 to 2012, Mr. Millen was Joint CEO of Whitewood Capital (Belgium) during which time the firm attempted an IPO of an externally managed pan-European Sicafi (REIT).

From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Millen was an International Director and Head of Capital Markets for CBRE (CEE) based in Warsaw, with previous roles in the Australian and NZ Institutional Investment Properties (IIP) team based in Sydney from 2004 to 2008. During his time with CBRE, Mr. Millen transacted over €2bn of commercial office and retail assets across Central Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Mr. Millen holds an MBA from the University of Oxford (Said Business School), a Diploma of Investment Compliance from the UK Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI), a Diploma in Property Investment & Finance from the Property Council of Australia (PCA) and substantially completed his Masters of Commerce from the University of New South Wales (UNSW).

Mr. Millen’s current and former professional memberships include being a current Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD), a Chartered Member of the UK Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (Chartered MCISI), a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (SA Fin) and an Associate Member of the Australian Property Institute (AAPI). He is a former qualified member of the UK Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and the UK Institute of Company Directors (MIoD).

Lastly, Mr. Millen holds CF 10 and CF 30 accreditations with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the equivalent standing with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC).

Mr. Millen is a member of Caerus’ Executive and Investment Committees, as well as convener of our group’s Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee (ARCC).
